About Daffni
Daffni recently joined the IT team at Relish as a Data Technician Apprentice in April 2025.
Her experience in the hospitality industry, most notably as a barista, has equipped Daffni with valuable skills for the Relish IT team, including the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and a keen eye for detail. With a lifelong passion for technology and problem-solving, Daffni chose an apprenticeship at Relish as the ideal path to pursue a tech career, allowing her to learn as well as earn. Relish's mission to provide nutritious meals and its commitment to high-tech, allergen-friendly solutions for children's meal ordering also strongly resonated with her.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Daffni enjoys a wide array of interests, perhaps too many to keep up with! Her more active hobbies include running, hiking, camping, swimming, ice-skating, and yoga. Creatively, she enjoys reading, drawing, painting, crocheting, clay sculpting, playing guitar, and even making latte art−a fun takeaway from her time as a barista. Growing up in the warm Philippine tropics, near both oceans and mountains, instilled in her a love for nature. Additionally, regularly flying to and from the UK during her childhood nurtured a passion for exploring different countries. A self-proclaimed foodie, Daffni regularly enjoys meals with her partner, friends, and family. Currently, she's particularly obsessed with Vietnamese cuisine − Banh Mi, yum!
