About Jamie
Jamie started catering at 15 working in pub kitchens, then he joined the navy when he was 18, cooking and fire fighting there. He got a chance to cook for and meet a few celebrities and royal family, including the Queen, during his time. Jamie then left the navy at 25 as he had young children and wanted to spend more time with the family. He carried on a career with cooking and went into restaurants, working his way up to a head chef and won his first 2 Rosettes in a gastro pub he worked in. He stepped away from the restaurant life to join school catering for a better work/life balance and hasn't looked back.
Personal Interests
Jamie loves to play and watch football in his spare time. He is also a big Liverpool supporter, where the majority of his family comes from, so he tries to go to the games as often as he can. Jamie also spends a lot of his spare time baking at home, doing birthday cakes etc. for family, and friends or getting the BBQ out when the sun's out.
