About Robbie
Robbie works as an Area Support Manager in the Leicestershire region, currently looking after The Rise Academy Trust.
Robbie has always enjoyed working in Catering, beginning his career working in pubs behind the bar, eventually cross training in a kitchen and working his way up to Kitchen Manager, then Pub Manager. After having children, the hours at a pub just didn't suit, so he moved in Contract Catering 10 years ago, and has worked in the sector ever since, first as a Catering Manager, then moving onto Area Support Manager.
Working as an Area Support Manager, he enjoys working with our Catering Managers across the region to provide the best, most visually appealing service possible to our pupils. As well as taking other great ideas from our Managers and implementing them across other sites. Robbie appreciates the care and attention that has gone into the Relish software, systems and menu development tools, as well as the team ethics running through the company from top to bottom, giving the company a proper family feel.

Personal Interests
In his spare time, Robbie is always looking for his next adventure with his wife Shannon, and children; Aoife and Saoirse. Whether that be a National Trust day out, or an exciting city break, where they love to take in all the culture and history of wherever they visit.
Robbie is a big foodie and love trying new cuisines! His favourite cuisine is Japanese, as he can never turn down a good bowl of Ramen or a Bento Box. He is also a big Derby County fan, supporting them from the age of 5 when his Dad took him to the first match at the newly opened Pride Park Stadium, where Derby faced a star studded Barcelona side. He is also a keen film-goer, making regular cinema visits. His favourite films being The Lord of the Rings & Terminator 2.
Fun Fact - In 2018 Robbie met Arnold Schwarzenegger at a black tie event in Birmingham - a long term ambition of his to meet his favourite actor!
